Motion Capture Technology.
Our sign language library is created by Deaf experts to ensure authentic representation. Each sign is performed by a native Deaf signer and captured using motion capture technology, then reviewed and animated into our digital humans. This continuously growing library, powered by our proprietary, patented technology, fuels Kara Auto Translate (KAT).
It’s real language. Not AI guesswork.

How Our AI Works.
Our advanced AI delivers sign language translation at scale. It is powered by the Kara Notation System (KNS), which gives our models a structured way to represent sign language.
We do not translate word-for-word. Our AI is trained on the core linguistic features of sign language, including facial expression, spatial direction, timing, and role-shifting. This allows the system to understand meaning, context, and intent, not just individual signs.
By combining artificial intelligence with linguistic structure, Kara produces accurate, clear, and culturally appropriate sign language translations for real-world accessibility.
Meet Our
Digital Humans.
Our digital humans are high-fidelity sign language avatars designed to translate video, audio, and text into signed language across devices and platforms. Built using real sign language data, they deliver expressive, natural signing with accurate facial grammar and emotional nuance. Digital humans like Kalisha, Ami, Alisha, and Hana can appear on any screen, from mobile devices to large displays, providing accessible signed content wherever it’s needed.
