Our AI generates an initial sign language translation using the Kara Translation API.
2. Certified Deaf Interpreter (CDI) Review
Our In-house or contracted CDIs review the translation using our custom software and Kara Notation System, making refinements to ensure complete accuracy of the message.
KAT hybrid guarantees culturally appropriate, linguistically precise translations while continuously enhancing AI capabilities through expert feedback.

Standard Terms 🞗 Text into American Sign Language (ASL) - Delivered electronically MP4 video format 🞗 The initial translation is generated by AI, then reviewed and refined by a Certified Deaf interpreter (CDI) to meet professional ASL translation standard 🞗 Lite / Business / Enterprise SaaS plans are 12-month commitment paid monthly 🞗 Can choose from the following output options: 1. Solid background 2. Green screen or Alpha files 🞗 With or without subtitles using Kara’s AI Closed Captions translation – client to select at time of order 🞗 Turnaround time = content duration + approx. 24 to 48 hours as standard, with 3+ working days for more complex content and/or longer duration translations. 🞗 Kara standard digital human 🞗 Pricing options available on request for translations synchronized to match audio/video content, as well as Picture-in-Picture (PIP) mode.
